US Open Tennis 2026 Live Stream: How to Watch Online Free
The US Open Tennis 2026 live stream runs on ESPN Unlimited and ABC in the United States, Sky Sports and NOW in the UK and Ireland, HBO Max and Eurosport across much of Europe, TSN in Canada, 9Now and Stan Sport in Australia, JioHotstar in India and Disney+ in New Zealand.
The women’s semifinals are tonight, Thursday 10 September. The men’s final is Sunday 13 September.
Only four days are left, and the cheapest way through them is not a monthly subscription. The men’s final is free over the air on ABC. Everything before it sits on ESPN, which a $9.99 Sling three day pass covers. In Australia, Nine carries both finals live and free.

What Is Left, and Where Each Session Airs
| Date | Session | Time ET and channel |
|---|---|---|
| Thursday 10 September | Women’s semifinals | 7 to 11 p.m., ESPN |
| Friday 11 September | Women’s doubles final | Noon to 2 p.m., ESPN2 |
| Friday 11 September | Men’s semifinals | 3 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m., ESPN |
| Saturday 12 September | Men’s doubles final | Noon to 2 p.m., ESPN app, Unlimited only |
| Saturday 12 September | Women’s singles final | 4 p.m., ESPN |
| Sunday 13 September | Men’s singles final | 2 p.m., ABC, preview from 1 p.m. |
Tonight is a doubleheader in one session. Top seed Aryna Sabalenka plays Jessica Pegula first, then Elena Rybakina meets Coco Gauff. All four top women’s seeds reached the semifinals, which has happened at the US Open only once before, in 1975. Rybakina took over the world number one ranking with her quarterfinal win, so Sabalenka arrives as top seed but no longer top of the rankings. Sabalenka is two wins from a third straight title.
The men’s half lost its headline names. Jannik Sinner withdrew before the tournament with a knee injury, Novak Djokovic went out in the first round to Mariano Navone, and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz was beaten in the quarterfinals by Ben Shelton in a match that finished at 3.33 a.m., the latest ever at the tournament. Friday pairs top seed Alexander Zverev with Karen Khachanov at 3 p.m., then Shelton against Frances Tiafoe at night. That second match guarantees an American man in the final for the first time since 2024.
Day sessions start at 11 a.m. ET and night sessions no earlier than 7 p.m. ET. The USTA publishes the order of play the evening before. Round by round times for your country sit on our US Open 2026 schedule page.
The Cheapest Way to Watch the Rest of the US Open
With four days left, a month of anything is poor value. Two purchases cover everything in the United States, and one of them is free.
- The men’s final costs nothing. It is a live ABC broadcast on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, so an antenna and your local affiliate are enough. There is no ESPN simulcast, though ESPN Unlimited subscribers can stream it in app under ESPN on ABC, and ESPN2 replays it at 9 p.m.
- Everything else needs ESPN. A Sling three day pass is $9.99 on Sling Orange, which carries ESPN and ESPN2. The pass runs as a rolling block from when you activate it, not to the end of a calendar day, so starting it before 7 p.m. tonight covers the women’s semifinals, both men’s semifinals on Friday and the women’s final at 4 p.m. on Saturday. A one day pass is $4.99 and a week is $14.99.
Two limits worth knowing before you buy. Sling Orange streams to one device at a time, and it carries no ABC in any market, so the pass will not get you Sunday’s final. That is what the antenna is for. Total outlay for the entire finals weekend is $9.99.

How to Watch the US Open Tennis 2026 Live Stream in the United States
ESPN is the exclusive US rights holder under a 12 year agreement with the USTA that runs through 2037 and began this season. Coverage spans ESPN, ESPN2, ABC and the ESPN app, with Spanish commentary on ESPN Deportes throughout.
ESPN Select vs ESPN Unlimited
ESPN+ has not disappeared, despite what many guides say. The subscription once sold as ESPN+ is now sold as ESPN Select, and ESPN+ continues as a content brand inside both tiers. Only one tier carries the tennis.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| ESPN Select | $13.99 a month or $139.99 a year | ESPN+ content only. No US Open matches and no ESPN networks |
| ESPN Unlimited | $31.99 a month or $319.99 a year | Every ESPN network, every US Open court and the men’s doubles final |
| Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Unlimited bundle | $35.99 a month with ads | Everything in Unlimited plus Disney+ and Hulu for $4 more. No free trial |
Most guides still quote the old numbers. ESPN lists $31.99 and $13.99 as its current prices. The $29.99 and $12.99 rates now apply only to people who subscribed before 20 August, and even they move up at their first billing date after 17 September, four days after the men’s final.
With a live TV bundle
| Service | Price a month | Free trial |
|---|---|---|
| Sling Essentials | $19.99 | No |
| Sling Orange | $45.99, or passes from $4.99 | No |
| Fubo Sports | $64.99 | Varies by plan |
| DirecTV MySports | $64.99, first month $49.99 | 5 days |
| YouTube TV | $82.99, or $59.99 for three months | Varies |
| Hulu + Live TV | $89.99 | 3 days |
A five day DirecTV trial started today reaches Sunday’s final, and a three day Hulu trial covers the women’s final, but both need cancelling before they bill. Cable and satellite customers skip all of this: sign in to the ESPN app with your provider details and every ESPN and ABC window is included.
How to Watch US Open 2026 in the UK and Ireland
Sky Sports holds exclusive rights in both markets, covering singles, doubles, junior and wheelchair events. There is no free to air television coverage. Sky customers watch on Sky Sports Tennis, channel 407, with the outside courts on Sky Sports+, and can stream through Sky Go at no extra cost.
Without Sky, use NOW, and buy days rather than a month. A Sports Day Membership is £14.99 in the UK and €14.99 in Ireland, runs 24 hours from your first stream and does not auto renew, so there is nothing to cancel. Two of them cover both finals for £29.98, against £34.99 for a month. The 12 month Sports Saver at £27.99 a month only makes sense if you want Sky Sports past this weekend.
Timing is brutal. The women’s semifinals start at midnight UK time tonight. The women’s final is 9 p.m. Saturday and the men’s final 7 p.m. Sunday, both far friendlier. For free follow along coverage, BBC Sport carries live text, and BBC Radio 5 Live commentates from Arthur Ashe Stadium through BBC Sounds.
How to Watch US Open 2026 in Europe
Warner Bros. Discovery partnered with the USTA on the host broadcast for the first time this year, so every match on every court streams on HBO Max across 45 markets, with Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 carrying 265 hours of it. The Courtside show with John McEnroe, Mats Wilander, Justine Henin and Johanna Konta runs from 17.00 CEST this week.
Check your own market before assuming. That 45 market figure excludes Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK and Ireland, where other broadcasters hold the rights. In the UK and Ireland specifically, Eurosport ceased to exist when it folded into TNT Sports in 2025, and TNT holds no US Open rights, so Sky Sports is the only option there.
How to Watch US Open 2026 in Canada
TSN carries English coverage and RDS carries French under Bell Media’s rights deal with the USTA. Cable and satellite customers stream free through the TSN app with a provider login, which is the cheapest option if you already pay for TV.
Without cable, TSN Standard is CA$24.99 a month and TSN Premium CA$29.99 a month. TSN is currently running Premium at CA$59.99 for the first three months, which works out near CA$20 a month and is the best value for finals weekend. It is open to new, upgrading and reactivating subscribers and the offer closes on 30 September. Older guides call the top tier TSN+, a name Bell retired in April.
How to Watch US Open Tennis 2026 Free in Australia
Australia gets the best free access anywhere, and that includes the finals. Nine carries both singles finals live and free to air across Channel 9, 9Gem and 9Go, and streams them free on 9Now with a registered account. The account needs only a name, email, password, birth year and Australian postcode. No trial and no card.
The women’s final starts at 6 a.m. AEST on Sunday 13 September and the men’s final at 4 a.m. AEST on Monday 14 September. Nine picks marquee matches rather than the full draw, which matters less now only a handful remain. For every match, add Stan Sport at AU$20 a month to a base Stan plan.
Stan Basic with Ads is AU$9.99, Standard AU$17.99 and Premium AU$23.99, so guides quoting AU$12, AU$17 and AU$22 are out of date. Play runs without ad breaks on Stan Sport, and 4K needs the Premium base plan, taking the total to AU$43.99.
How to Watch US Open 2026 in India and South Asia
JioStar holds the rights across India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Star Sports carries the television broadcast and JioHotstar streams on phones, tablets, laptops and smart TVs, with multi language commentary alongside English.
JioHotstar restructured its plans on 28 January 2026. Mobile is ₹79 a month, Super is ₹149 and Premium is ₹299, with annual plans at ₹499, ₹1,099 and ₹2,199. Premium is ad free for entertainment, but live sport carries ads on every tier, so there is no ad free way to watch the tennis.
The finals land well. The women’s final starts at 1.30 a.m. IST on Sunday and the men’s final at 11.30 p.m. IST on Sunday 13 September, the most watchable slot of the fortnight.
How to Watch US Open 2026 in New Zealand
Disney+ is the exclusive New Zealand home of the US Open. Coverage sits in the ESPN tile inside Disney+ and is included on every New Zealand plan at no extra cost, starting with Standard with Ads at NZ$9.99 a month.
You do not need a higher tier. Two common claims are wrong: TVNZ has not held the rights for years, and Sky NZ carries the ESPN channels but the US Open is carved out of them.
New Zealand stays on NZST until late September, so Auckland runs 16 hours ahead of New York. The women’s final starts about 8 a.m. on Sunday 13 September and the men’s final about 6 a.m. on Monday 14 September.

Can You Watch the US Open 2026 Free?
- The men’s final on ABC. Sunday 13 September at 2 p.m. ET, free with an antenna. The women’s final is on ESPN, so it is not free over the air.
- Both finals in Australia. Nine shows them live and free on television and on 9Now, the best free offering of any market.
- Short free trials. DirecTV runs five days and Hulu + Live TV three. A DirecTV trial started today reaches Sunday. Cancel before it bills.
- On the grounds today. Thursday 10 September is Open for All Day, the last free admission day of the tournament. Grounds entry is free and anyone 18 or over needs the free Fan Access Pass, though it does not include Arthur Ashe, so tonight’s semifinals still need a ticket. See our US Open tickets guide.
Skip unofficial streaming sites. They buffer, they carry malware ads, and they are illegal in most countries.

FAQ: Watching the US Open Tennis 2026
What channel is the US Open 2026 men’s final on?
The men’s singles final is on ABC on Sunday 13 September at 2 p.m. ET, with a preview from 1 p.m. It is a live over the air broadcast, so an antenna is enough. There is no ESPN simulcast, but ESPN Unlimited subscribers can stream it in the ESPN app under ESPN on ABC, and ESPN2 replays it at 9 p.m.
What channel is the US Open 2026 women’s final on?
The women’s singles final is on ESPN on Saturday 12 September at 4 p.m. ET. It is not on ABC, so an antenna will not get it. The cheapest legal route is a Sling three day pass at $9.99 on Sling Orange, which carries ESPN and ESPN2.
What is the cheapest way to watch the rest of the US Open?
In the United States, $9.99. A Sling three day pass on Sling Orange runs as a rolling block from activation, so starting it before the women’s semifinals covers those, both men’s semifinals and the women’s final. The men’s final is then free on ABC with an antenna. Sling Orange carries no ABC in any market and streams to one device at a time.
Who is in the US Open 2026 semifinals?
The women’s semifinals are Aryna Sabalenka against Jessica Pegula and Elena Rybakina against Coco Gauff, both on Thursday 10 September from 7 p.m. ET. The men’s semifinals on Friday 11 September are Alexander Zverev against Karen Khachanov at 3 p.m. and Ben Shelton against Frances Tiafoe at night.
Is Carlos Alcaraz still in the US Open 2026?
No. The defending champion lost his quarterfinal to Ben Shelton in five sets in a match that finished at 3.33 a.m., the latest ever at the tournament. With Jannik Sinner withdrawn before the event with a knee injury and Novak Djokovic beaten in the first round, none of the three plays this weekend.
What time do the US Open finals start in the UK and Australia?
In the UK the women’s final is 9 p.m. Saturday and the men’s final 7 p.m. Sunday, both on Sky Sports or NOW. In Australia the women’s final is 6 a.m. AEST on Sunday and the men’s final 4 a.m. AEST on Monday, both live and free on Nine and 9Now.
How much does ESPN Unlimited cost for the US Open?
ESPN Unlimited is $31.99 a month or $319.99 a year and is the only ESPN plan carrying US Open matches. Guides still quoting $29.99 are out of date: that rate now applies only to people who subscribed before 20 August 2026, and they move up at their first billing date after 17 September.
Is it legal to use a VPN to watch the US Open?
VPNs are legal in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and most of Europe. Using one may still breach your streaming service terms, so it is best used to reach a subscription you already pay for while travelling.
Which Service Should You Pick?
Match your US Open Tennis 2026 live stream to the four days that remain, not to a month. Americans need an antenna for Sunday and a $9.99 Sling three day pass for everything before it. UK and Irish viewers should buy £14.99 or €14.99 NOW day passes for the two finals rather than a month.
Canadians with a TV provider should use the free TSN app login, and those without should take the CA$59.99 three month Premium offer. Australians need nothing at all, because Nine shows both finals free. New Zealanders already have it if they hold any Disney+ plan.
This is a US Open without its three biggest men’s names. Sinner never started, Djokovic lost in the first round and Alcaraz fell in the quarterfinals, so Friday’s winner between Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe becomes the first American man in a US Open final since 2024.
The women’s draw went the other way entirely, with all four top seeds reaching the semifinals for the first time here since 1975. For daily order of play and TV windows, see the US Open 2026 schedule. For draws, prize money and background, start at our US Open Tennis 2026 hub, or check the official US Open site.
