About US Open Tennis Info

Last updated: 3 August 2026

US Open Tennis Info covers the US Open tennis championships in New York. Schedules, TV listings, streaming guides, tickets, prize money and printable resources, updated daily through the tournament.

The site has been running since 2018.

What We Cover

Every August and September the US Open produces the same set of questions. When does it start, what channel is it on, what time is it where I live, how do I watch without cable, how much are tickets.

We answer those, in one place, checked against official sources.

During the fortnight we update daily with the order of play, results and any schedule changes.

How We Work

This is the part that matters, so we will be specific.

We use a source hierarchy. usopen.org and usta.com come first. Then the ATP and WTA for rankings and player data, then ESPN, Reuters, AP and the BBC. Where a secondary source conflicts with the official one, the official one wins and we say which we used.

We date everything. Every page shows when it was last updated. Prices and broadcast listings carry the date we checked them, because both change without notice.

We separate confirmed from expected. If the USTA has published a start time, we state it. If we are working from the pattern of previous years, we label it as expected and update it when the official version lands.

We correct errors publicly. If a date, channel or price is wrong, tell us. We check it against the official source and fix it, usually the same day.

We check claims other sites repeat. Plenty of tennis pages still tell readers ESPN+ streams every court, that TVNZ carries the tournament free in New Zealand, or that the courts are DecoTurf. None of those has been true for some time. We check rather than copy.

Who Writes This Site

US Open Tennis Info is written and maintained by Joseph Yoder.

[One or two sentences: how long you have followed tennis, what got you into it, anything relevant such as playing, coaching, attending the tournament, or years spent writing about the sport. Keep it true.]

[One sentence on why the site exists: for example, that tennis schedule information online is scattered, often out of date, and rarely checked against the official source.]

What We Are Not

We are independent. No affiliation with the USTA, the US Open, the ATP, the WTA, any player or any broadcaster.

We do not host or link to unauthorised streams. Our guides point only to licensed broadcasters and official free services.

We do not cover betting or odds.

We are also not the U.S. Open golf championship, which is a separate USGA event played in June.

How the Site is Funded

The site is free to read. It is funded by advertising through Google AdSense and by affiliate commissions on some links.

Commissions never change the facts we report, and we say so on every page carrying affiliate links. Our affiliate disclosure explains it fully.

Reader corrections are genuinely useful. Several improvements to this site started as an email pointing out something wrong.
