Newfoundland adds 30 minutes to Atlantic time, so the night session is 8:30 pm NT. Saskatchewan stays on CST year round, which matches the Mountain column in summer. One exception: the Wednesday 9 September quarterfinal evening starts at 7:30 pm ET.

Two Canadian teams are still alive in the doubles:
- Gabriela Dabrowski won this title in 2023 and 2025 with Erin Routliffe. She is back as the No. 2 seed with Luisa Stefani and opened with a 6-1, 6-3 win. That final is Friday 11 September at noon ET on TSN4.
- Leylah Fernandez is playing doubles with Indonesia’s Janice Tjen after a 6-1, 6-1 opening win.
How the rest went out. Félix Auger-Aliassime, world No. 4 and the third seed, lost in the second round to Karen Khachanov after winning the opening set. Fernandez, the 31st seed and 2021 finalist, fell to third seed Jessica Pegula 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 on Friday, her second straight year out in the third round. Bianca Andreescu, the 2019 champion, lost to Tamara Zidansek in the final round of qualifying on 28 August. Gabriel Diallo withdrew with a leg injury and Victoria Mboko withdrew while recovering from a knee injury.
At the top of the draws, Carlos Alcaraz is the second seed defending his title, with Alexander Zverev seeded first after Jannik Sinner withdrew with a knee injury. Aryna Sabalenka is chasing a third straight women’s crown, which no player has managed since Serena Williams won three in a row from 2012 to 2014. Prize money is a record $108 million, with $5.5 million to each singles champion.
